Mack, Fuller and Co. are entertainers as much as they are guardians of an offense in frequent need of rescue. Still, the defense can double as a safety net but for only so long before its thread wears thin.
Regardless of multiple sources of frustration, the Bears sit atop the NFC North and are looking more and more like a lock for the playoffs in spite of the calls to dissect the team and disregard it because of uneven play.
On paper, it looks like this is a good match-up for the Bears and a prime chance to get back to running the football effectively.

In our haste to continue a surprising run and set up a showdown of showdowns in the coming week against New England, we all forgot that (Brock) Osweiler for some reason likes to get in the Bears’ behinds when they cross him.
This Dolphins team is largely an unknown, coming into the year they had very little name recognition and so far they have been very opportunistic in getting to their winning record. The Bears will have to take care of all the little things and be opportunistic themselves to get a win this week.
