Things are different this year, where the Bears are the hunted but they seemingly don’t have the typical swag of a year ago…stealing a victory like that after a embarrassment in Week 1 must feel like a lift for the whole team.
Usually at this time their are a few headlines, simply speculation on some players health at the least. This year is different because everything to this point is indicating the team will be healthy and confident for Week 1. In all likelihood, cut day will be one of the biggest newsworthy days for the Bears since the start of training camp.
Head coach Matt Nagy has elected to rest all his starters and key players for the second year in a row and will leave the back end of the roster to play against the Colts…plenty of young players and players fighting to make the roster will get extended playing time to impress.
