It was another terrible Monday Night Football loss and sadly, another game that was ripe for the Bears to take. Instead, more of the same questionable play and inherent problems defined another flat performance.
After blowing the London game to the Raiders, having a week off from the Bears troubles was a nice break to have. That said, it was easy to find various Bears angles in an often-surprising NFL Week 6.
Just a week ago, the Bears looked like a galvanized team after rallying past multiple injuries in route to a huge division win against Minnesota. Not much of that grit and determination showed in the trip to London.
The playoffs are definitely a possibility if the Bears stay at the current level they are at and if the team’s confidence takes no hits. If the offense can establish itself as a consistent compliment to the defense like they did against the Bucs then the Bears can definitely win their division
In Trubisky the Bears have their most modern template for a franchise quarterback ever, a guy they can basically mold into their own to do the things that winners do in the NFL today. So what is there to make of this guy through a year and a half of play?
