We Are Regal Radio’s mission is to utilize radio, film and advanced technology to provide a unique and dynamic presentation while encouraging equal opportunity communication to increase awareness and expand visibility as the preferred voice for fans and sports enthusiasts by recognizing prominent local and at large sporting events, highlighting athletes making significant (impact/contributions as) to the sports community, and by using personal insight and a (3rd party/non-biased) perspective to demystify the perception of corporate sports.

Demonze “D” Spruiel Co-Founder/Co-Host & Producer of The D & Davis Show

Demonze grew up on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from Brother Rice High School. He also graduated from Columbia College of Chicago in 2003 with a B.A. in Arts Entertainment Media Management. He is known for his very “straight forward” point of view on just about anything.

Demonze grew up as huge fan of the Chicago Bulls and White Sox. Demonze’s key interview with Chicago Bulls guard Kyle Korver in 2010 highlights one of his many accomplishments. Demonze started The Varsity Show with Joseph “Champ” Tanksley in 2009. Follow Demonze on Twitter @demonze1

Joseph “Champ” Tanksley Co-Founder/Co-Host of The Varsity Show

Co-Host of The Varsity Show Champ is a native Chicagoan and avid sports fan. As a graduate from Saint Rita High School, he attended Butler University and graduated with a BS in Telecommunication Arts (Media Arts) in 2003. While at Butler, Joseph was a member of the football and track teams and was recognized as a Jostens’s Scholar Athlete.

Joseph also earned a MS in Integrated Marketing Communication in 2006. Since then, he has been involved with numerous youth sports initiatives as a little league baseball coach and Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach for Crane Technical Preparatory High School. Sean “Pharaoh” Terry Co-Founder/Co-Host for The Varsity Show

IMG_0142[1]As a co-producer for The Varsity Show, Sean utilizes 5+ years experience in strategic program development, marketing, promotions, and event management within sports and the athletics industry to help guide the development of the show.

Skilled at organizing and implementation, Sean’s strong suit includes using his proven leadership capacity to engender enthusiasm for newly introduced concepts and ideas, while also using technical expertise to assist the overall quality and presentation of the show. Kyle Means Editorial Director

1402943151428_IMG_20140616_130530_630Kyle Means is a veteran sports journalist whose writing has been featured in publications throughout the Midwest since 2005. Means is Editorial Director of weareregalradio.com and a co-executive producer of The D & Davis Show on Chicagolandsportsradio.com.

Means has a bachelors in journalism from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists’ Sports Task Force and the Associated Press Sports Editors’ Diversity Board. Follow Kyle on Twitter @Wrk_Wrt.

Sidney Brown NHL Writer/Producer for the D & Davis Show

Sidney is a veteran in the Chicago sports radio game, he’s worked for WAUR-AM from 2002 to 2004, Sporting News Radio from 2006 to 2007, and currently writes and contributes for Regal Radio and weareregalradio.com., where he mainly writes about the Chicago Blackhawks and NHL, though he is a fan of all Chicago sports teams — except the Cubs!
