Listen: Get Geeky With The Guys As C2E2 Comes Back

It’s officially Spring in Chicago and you know what that means — sporadic snow flurries and temperatures mostly in the 30s.

This would be one of those times to envy San Diego, another would be during that town’s annual Comic-Con, the standard bearer of comic-book and pop culture conventions in America. But in actuality, this week that revelry has to take a back seat to our city and C2E2, the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, which itself is the Midwest’s leading convention and is expected to welcome over 70,000 geeks, collectors, costumers and other fun people to McCormick Place this weekend.

The D & Davis crew can feel right at home among this crowd, we enjoyed ourselves at the convention a couple years ago to be exact, so we made sure to have some special coverage of C2E2 and got none other than Chicago’s King of Geeks, Elliot Serrano, to help us preview it with some passionate comic and comic movie talk. Check it in the latest edition of the “Backflip,” where we go in-depth with some of the best media personalities in the city.

Make sure to tune into The D & Davis Show this Saturday for an exclusive interview with C2E2 event director Mike Armstrong who will give you many more details to entice you to come to the convention if you continue to sleep. Also, feel free to check out our previous interviews from C2E2 ’16, including talks with former Chicago Bear Israel Idonije, heralded artist Hebru Brantley and rapper and activist Rhymefest.

Check back with us in the coming days for more exclusive content from this year’s convention.
