Fred Mitchell Looks Back and Everyone Else Looks Forward to The D & Davis Show

Winter is coming…winter is coming…wait, it’s already come?

Time to get your shovels and boots at the ready, winter has come this weekend in Chicago and new Game of Thrones is still months away. Luckily, The D & Davis Show is here for you every Saturday.

This latest Saturday will see plenty of local sports talk — the Bears have a potentially trans-formative week ahead of them with games on Sunday (Denver) and Thanksgiving (Green Bay), we’ll get into the latest with the re-emerging Monsters of the Midway in our weekly segment with Joe Tanksley of and RedEye Chicago at 12:40 a.m..

Before the man called Champ, though, we got a big one — Chicago Tribune sports-writing great Fred Mitchell will be on at 11:40 to talk about his illustrious career, which is now in its final days at the Tribune, as well as his thoughts on current Chicago sports, including Big Ten football and the Northwestern Wildcats, who face off Wisconsin in a big match between ranked teams this Saturday.

Plus, the latest on the Chicago Bulls, who Friday night were the latest to put a scare in Golden State without actually beating the defending champs, as well as the Cubs, who came up big in the postseason award season.

Also during the 1 pm hour, the guys will give their Week 11 NFL picks, discuss what’s right and wrong (mostly wrong) about Billboard Magazine’s list of Top 10 Rappers of All Time and more!

Listen live on or on the TuneIn Radio App from 11 am to 2 pm central every Saturday, dial 312-564-7375 to join the show, follow the show on Twitter & Instagram @DandDavisShow.
