Cubs Trades, White Sox Streaking and More on The D & Davis Show

If you love baseball then The D & Davis Show is the place for you!

The latest edition of D & D will feature the guys breaking down the Chicago Cubs deals for Florida Marlin starting pitcher Dan Haren and relief pitcher Tommy Hunter of the Baltimore Orioles. Will these moves be enough for the Cubs to make that final push for the playoffs.

On the South Side of town, the Chicago White Sox had a great week, winning seven of nine games to pull itself back into the AL Wild Card race, but the club did not make a trade. D & Davis will share their thoughts on the Sox hot streak and lay out whether or not they should have made a trade.

If that isn’t enough Cubs and White Sox talk for you, today’s guests will give you even more! At 11:40 AM guest Matt Snyder, MLB Writer for, will join the show to discuss the trade deadline for both sides of town and the MLB at large. In the show’s second hour the crew welcomes Chicago White Sox and Indians Pacers stadium Emcee Bailey Smith to discuss her path to working with the White Sox and her future here in Chicago.

Also, as usual, D & Davis will touch on many of the hottest topics in sports and pop culture — including the Chicago Bears’ return to Bourbonnais, Ronda Rousey vs. Bethe Correia in UFC 190, the death of WWE Legend ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper and more!
