Great moment from WWE’s latest extravaganza. Summerslam’s gonna be a doozy.
Brock Lesnar was one second away from taking back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins at Battleground, but The Undertaker — who hasn’t been seen since beating Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31 — made a stunning appearance to spoil Lesnar’s night.
Lesnar snapped The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania record two years ago, but the Deadman exacted a small measure of revenge at Battleground, setting up what could be a rematch at SummerSlam next month.
Lesnar staggered to his feet after receiving a chokeslam only for the Undertaker to deliver a tombstone piledriver. He started to leave the ring as the crowd in St. Louis chanted his name, but decided to go back and hit Lesnar with a second piledriver for good measure.
Wrestling fans understandably flipped out.
