The Chicago sports scene was simpatico on Saturday night.
Bad weather in Chicago put a temporary stop to the Cubs and Reds game but fans got a great opportunity to cheer on that other local team, the Blackhawks, who were involved in a pivotal Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final in Tampa Bay.
With baseball in rain delay, the Cubs played the Blackhawks game on the newly installed Jumotron at Wrigley Field giving the fans a reason to stick around.
A nail-bitter through the first two periods, listen to the crowd react as the Blackhawks’ Antoine Vermette scores the game-wining goal to put the Blackhawks up 2-1. It’s awesome.
