Consequence of Sound

This evening, Comedy Central aired a star-studded roasting of Justin Bieber, in which a gathering of comics, musicians, and celebrities including Martha Stewart, Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Hart, and Snoop Dogg skewered the 21-year-old pop singer problem child. Perhaps the night’s biggest highlight, however, came courtesy of Chicago comedian Hannibal Buress.

After taking down fellow roaster Snoop Dogg (“The only way you’ll get another hit is if you stand behind Suge Knight’s car in a parking lot”), along with Kevin Hart and SHAQ (“Is this a roast or is this Tyler Perry’s Of Mice and Men?”), Buress went all in on Bieber. “I don’t like you at all … I’m just here because it’s a really good opportunity for me,” he explained, adding, “I hate your music. I hate your music more than Bill Cosby hates my comedy.”
