To celebrate the start of the 2014-15 college basketball season, For the Win highlights 12 must-watch players. Now, these aren’t necessarily the 12 best players. We have an All-American team for that. This is about excitement. Think dunking, showboating, SportsCenter top 10 plays. So if you’re looking for those dudes who takes charges and slap the floor after a defensive stop, this isn’t your list.

Note: Limit one star per team. Because…Kentucky.

1. Jahlil Okafor, Duke: Top-rated freshman will be a strong candidate to win national player of the year if the Blue Devils have a good season. He has retro post moves and a Tim Duncan-like craftiness.
