Celebrating its fourth year of bringing just about every artist of note from the worlds of Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, Funk, Reggae and House to the South Loop, The Shrine celebrates its 4th anniversary Friday by taking it back with two architects of the classic 90s New York sound — Diggin In The Crates Crew co-founder Lord Finesse and Large Professor, he of Illmatic, Breakin Atoms, and countless other classics, will both be spinning as part of a big weekend, which also includes shows tonight by Shrine mainstay Eric Roberson and a Saturday double bill with crooner Jesse Boykins III and Foreign Exchange representer Zo! with Deborah Bond. Buy tickets for all Shrine events here.
WARR’s Dave Evans will be on hand for Friday’s events and stay on weareregalradio.com for his take on everything next week. Also, tune in to tonight’s Varsity Show at Regal Radio on Blog Talk Radio for chances to win free passes to the Finesse and Large Pro set.
