Good question. I think Nate still feels as tall as the Sears Willis Tower. The Nasty One deserves all the acclaim he gets for his remarkable 34 point performance in the Bulls’ classic 142-134, triple OT win Saturday over Brooklyn in Game 4 of their first round match up. Nate’s legend in Chicago (God, I’d never thought I’d start a sentence like that when the Bulls first signed him) will be built off his 12 straight points to fuel the team’s comeback from 14 down in the fourth quarter, his 23 in total in the fourth, his 29 after the third quarter and his miraculous shot to seemingly end the game in the first OT.
Of course, as the game went on (and on), the references to Nate, his crazy antics, his small frame and his original namesake were flying on Twitter. Here’s a selection of some of the best Nasty Nate tweets from yesterday into today — they’re still flyin’ like shots when Nate is feelin’ it:
